Color-Key™ III negative overlay proofing films - SWOP™ are negative-acting films with factory-coated, ink pigment colors designed to visually match the Specifications for Web Offset Publications (SWOP). Each sheet has a light-sensitive color coating on a clear, stable polyester base for more accurate color rendition. The 0.00265 (0.07 mm) thick polyester base provides ease of handling for punching and accurate registration in building an overlay proof.

Color-Key™ III proofs are composites made by using three steps for each color sheet: Expose, Process and Mount. The same equipment and chemistry used to process Matchprint™ III single-sheet proofs is used for Color-Key™ III proofing, simplifying the inventory and space needs of your shop. Color-Key™ III can be hand processed.

In addition to process colors, Color-Key™ III proofing films are also available in sixteen custom colors for use as a fifth or sixth color in your final proof. Colors include: Red, Purple, Green, Blue, Brown, Orange, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Light Blue, Beige, Rubine, Yellow, Metallic Silver, Metallic Gold, Pink and Opaque White.

Color-Key III processing chemistry is 97.9% water and contains no VOCs.
